I. Shangri-La Toronto Facebook Promotional Contest (2013)

1. Concept:

The Must like to win Contest highlights Luxe Travel’s unique and boutique travel options and the sponsor’s premier lodging and travel services.

2. Eligibility:

a. The contest is open to adults over 18 years of age.
b. Contestants must have a personal Facebook account in order to be able to access the contest entry form.
c. Entries valid for U.S. and Canadian residents only.
d. Only entries in English will be eligible for the final round and judging.

3. Contest Winner:

a. Only those Facebook Likes of the Luxe Travel page will count toward the finalists’ selection.
b. Winner will be selected at random through GroSocial’s contest platform
c. The winners will be contacted via the email they supplied at the time of submission and will be announced via eblast to all contestants and via posts to Facebook and in the Luxe Traveler.

4. Duration and Dates:

a. Entries received between November 29 to December 15, 2013.
b. The Grand Prize Winners will be announced in November 16.

5. Prizes:

a. GRAND PRIZE: A 2-night stay for 2 at the Shangri-La Toronoto, Ontario, Canada. The prize does not include international airfare to/from Toronto.

i. Prize includes:

1. Accommodations, double occupancy
2. Luxe Travel management services

ii. Contest does not include:

1. International or domestic airfare
2. Meals and beverages except where noted
3. Gratuity

b. Prizes are not transferable
c. Prizes are not redeemable
d. The vacation prize itinerary must take place between January and December 2014.
e. The winner revokes their right to claim their prize if for reasons beyond the control of Luxe Travel or the Shangri-La Toronto the winner is not able to claim their prize in the time period defined for travel. Luxe Travel or the Shangri-La Toronto will not be liable for injury that occurs during the Prize Itinerary. All travelers must sign a liability waiver protecting the sponsors of this contest.

6. Contest Dynamic:

a. Contestants are invited to like the Luxe Travel Facebook page and enter their name and email address(
b. Entries will be posted to the Luxe Travel Facebook page ( The contestant’s page also receives a post that invites their friends to visit the Luxe Travel and Like their story.
c. Contestants may enter as many times as they like.
d. Luxe Travel reserves the right to modify the contest dynamic and prizes at any time during the contest.

7. Rights and Usage:

a. Luxe Travel has exclusive rights to use the names and emails posted by contestants for promotional purposes.
b. Luxe Travel or an agent of Luxe Travel may accompany the winner during their vacation and take photos and video of the winner and travel companions with the intent to share photos, video and stories of the vacation. Luxe Travel has exclusive rights to the use of these travel stories and images.
