The grounds of Ulusaba Rock Lodge include two lodges: Rock Lodge and Safari Lodge. The Rock Lodge can accommodate 20-25 guests in 10 rooms and is set upon the summit of a koppie (rocky hill). It includes The Cliff Lodge, set for smaller groups and families and able to accommodate 5 adults and 4 children when booked exclusively. The Safari Lodge can accommodate 22 guests in 11 rooms. The tree house suite is a 15 minute walk from the lodge and allows for time to get up close and personal with hippos and elephants in the nearby dam.
Take safaris and learn to track like the natives of Bushveld do with twice-daily game drives at Ulusaba and daily walks in the Bush with rangers and trackers. Enjoy the Aroma Bome Beauty Treatment Centres at Ulusaba Rock Lodge and soaking in the sun by the pool. Also, spend time enjoying and noting the sites you see daily, such as the big five. When feeling more active, try tennis on their floodlit tennis court complete with fully stocked bar, or work out at their fully-equipped fitness center, always open. Stop by their observatory for a little stargazing, or ask the staff to arrange cultural, wildlife, or scenic tours, including local community tours or helicopter rides.
For children, the Ulusaba Rock Lodge offers a complimentary Cub’s Club, focused on educating children about their surroundings while entertaining them, offering a range of activities suited to each child, including game drives for children age 6 and up.
Enjoy local Bush cuisine at Ulusaba, such as Braai, or sample local specialties overlooking the animals wandering by. Breakfast and lunch is organized restaurant style at Ulusaba Rock Lodge, and they are always able to organize private dining if asked for. Be sure to visit their wine cellar at Safari Lodge for wine tasting and an outdoor dining area for up to six guests.
