Triple Creek

Fly fishing, wood burning fireplaces, horseback riding, and white-water rafting may be typical of any Montana vacation ranch, but Triple Creek Ranch gives you the chance to live out that childhood dream of riding “hi-ho Silver” and rustlin’ up the cattle through the French Basin of Sula, Montana.

Through mid-October, live out the Western dream on any given Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, against the magnificent backdrop of the Montana Rockies. Those new to horseback riding, as well as those who know their way around a horse, can join an authentic cattle drive and genuinely drive a herd of cattle under the tutelage of experienced ranch hands.

Participants will depart from the Sula Peak Cattle Ranch and move through the stunning French Basin to test their horsemanship skills while genuinely moving live herds of cattle from one pasture to another. The midday break includes a picnic lunch prepared by the Triple Creek Ranch chefs.

To make sure participants know what they’re doing, Triple Creek recommends each person participate in at least one on-ranch trail ride before joining the off-ranch cattle drive.
