The Half Moon resort features 398 accommodations, including 197 rooms and suites. Rooms include spacious balconies or patios, air conditioning, refrigerated mini-bars, phones with data ports, color cable TVs, AM/FM radios, hair dryers, magnified mirrors, 110V electrical outlets, in-room safes, bathrobes, irons with ironing boards, and twice-daily maid and turn-down services.

Half Moon is a wonderful place to bring your children. It features the Anancy Children’s Play Village named for Anancy the Spider, Jamaica’s favorite folktale character. This village features a model of a Caribbean village with brightly painted buildings and activities and programs for children aged 3 – 12. There are play areas, activity rooms, a wading pool, and a sand box. Camp Half Moon, another activity area for children, features adventures, arts and crafts, and entertainment for children ages 6 – 15. There’s even V.I.L.P.S Check-In, or Very Important Little Person Service. For teens there’s the Hype Zone, a great place to meet other vacationing teens and enjoy sports, entertainment, and spa services.
Dining options at Half Moon include six restaurants and eight bars: Seagrape Terrace, Il Giardino, The Sugar Mill Restaurant, The Prince of Wales, Aarya, La Baguette, The Royal Pavilion, Lester’s Bar, Cedar Bar, Hibiscus Pool Bar, 19th Hole Bar (on the golf course), Oleander Bar (at La Baguette/Oleander Pool), Sugar Mill Bar, and Beach Bar.
The Seagrape Terrace’s style is “Resort Casual” and overlooks Sunset Beach, offering breakfast, lunch, snacks, and gourmet dining. Il Giardino is only open for dinner and is an elegant and romantic Italian restaurant. The Sugar Mill Restaurant, serving cuisine reflecting the varied cultures of the Caribbean, is open for dinner only and has one of the finest wine cellars in Jamaica. The Prince of Wales is a great place for a pint and a delicious plate of fish and chips. It’s named in honor of Prince Charles who has been a repeat visitor to the resort, and it features pub fare, is open for lunch and dinner. Aarya, open for lunch and dinner, is just inside Half Moon’s shopping village and features Tandoor and Moghlai cuisine as well as Thai dishes. La Baguette is situated between the Oleander Pool and the Caribbean Sea, specializing in al fresco dining and grilled dishes. Continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at La Baguette, and the bar is open from 10 am to 9 pm.
